The length is 193.5 inches, which is a hair more than 16 feet, and the standard ground clearance is 8.4 inches. With both model years, you also have the option of the Grand Cherokee L, which has an extended wheelbase. The L model measures 204.9 inches, a hair more than 17 feet, and has a 10.9-inch ground clearance. The core trim levels are the same for both model years: Laredo, Limited, Trailhawk, Overland and Summit. The Altitude packages upgrades the base Laredo with a darker exterior aesthetic. Limited Black, which is new for the 2023 model, does the same for the Limited, and the High Altitude package adds those same exterior style enhancements to your choice of either the Summit or Summit Reserve.

The Grand Cherokee L adds a third row of seating and can seat either seven or six depending on the seating style you choose for the second row. You also have the option of a 5.7-liter V8 that makes 357 hp and which can tow up to 7,200 pounds. It is available with the Overland and Summit trim levels and, in the case of the 2022 model, with the Trailhawk. You also have the option of the 4xe powertrain, which makes 375 hp and tows up to 6,000 pounds. It comes standard with the Trailhawk for the 2023 model and is optional with all other trim levels beyond the base Laredo. Note that the 4xe powertrain is not offered with the Grand Cherokee L, but you do have the option of either the V6 or V8.
