2021 Ram 1500 Trim Levels near Colorado Springs CO
The Ram 1500 continues to be one of the most popular pickup trucks near Colorado Springs and throughout the surrounding areas. The 2021 Ram 1500 arrives with a number of exciting changes, including new technologies like a head-up display and trailer reverse steering control. There is also a new top-end trim level—the TRX—which has redefined the term performance pickup. Ram offers the 1500 in seven trim levels that you can further customize, and we have them all available here at Pueblo Ram.
Tradesman
The Tradesman is the first of the available 2021 Ram 1500 trim levels near Colorado Springs, and Ram offers it in two configurations: standard and HFE. The HFE is optimized for fuel performance and limited to a single powertrain. The standard base model provides you several powertrain options and the choice between rear-wheel and four-wheel drive. In either case, you have the option of a quad cab with a bed that measures 6 feet 4 inches or a crew cab with either that bed or bed that measures 5 feet 7 inches.
Big Horn
The Big Horn—which is called the Lone Star in some markets—is the second of the 2021 Ram 1500 trim levels. It upgrades the standard 18-inch steel wheels to 18-inch aluminum, adds fog lamps and enhances the cabin with a 60/40-split folding rear bench. It also opens up a wide range of options not available with the base model, including the 8.4-inch and 12.0-inch Uconnect infotainment touchscreens.
Laramie
The Laramie is arguably the most popular of the 2021 Ram 1500 trim levels near Colorado Springs, and it is certainly the trim aimed at the average consumer. It upgrades the cabin with leather upholstery and both heated and ventilated front bucket seats. It adds the 8.4-inch touchscreen as standard equipment. It upgrades the Ram 1500 to all power accessories, and it adds some driver-assistance technologies, including a system that can detect impending forward collisions and automatically activate the brakes.
Rebel
The Rebel does not build off the Laramie but rather the Big Horn/Lone Star. Although you can choose between four-wheel and rear-wheel drive, this is an off-road-oriented model. It boasts more aggressive styling and all LED exterior lighting, but there are mechanical enhancements too. These include an upgraded off-road-tuned suspension, all-terrain tires, hill descent control, an electronically locking rear axle and a series of underbody skid plates.
Limited Longhorn
While it starts with the Laramie, the Limited Longhorn is where the 2021 Ram 1500 trim levels really begin to lean into being a luxury pickup truck. The cabin is upgraded with satellite radio and in-dash navigation, and the reclining rear seats are heated and have under-seat storage. The exterior is upgraded with a spray-in bedliner, an in-bed lighting system and front and rear parking sensors.
Limited
While the Limited is no longer the top trim level technically, it still serves that role for most customers. The Limited features an adjustable four-corner air suspension that can lower or raise ride height. It comes with most of the driver-assistance technologies available for the Ram 1500, including a blind-spot monitor. The exterior is upgraded with power-deployable running boards, and the cabin is enhanced with premium leather seating, a 12.0-inch infotainment touchscreen and a wireless charging pad.
TRX
The TRX—as in T. Rex—is the new performance-level pickup intended to compete with vehicles like the Ford Raptor. It did that so well, in fact, that Ford actually pulled the Raptor in order to redesign it. The TRX is powered by a supercharged 6.2L V8 that doles out 702 hp and 650 lb.-ft. of torque. It has numerous other mechanical enhancements as well, including a suspension lift, adaptive dampers with remote reservoirs, a solid rear axle, an electronic rear differential, performance brakes and much more!
